Shaft:The shaft is spun tapered from all new 6063 alloy aluminum tubing and heat treated to produce T6 temper. All shafts with a satin finish are polished with fine grit aluminum oxide cloths, resulting in a high quality circumferential brushed finish. After finishing, each standard is wrapped for protection in shipment.
Pedestal Base: The pedestal base is cast from A356 alloy aluminum and heat treated to a T6 temper. The shaft is inserted into the pedestal base casting and joined by a continuous circumferential weld on the outside top and inside the pedestal base.
Base Handhole: The clear opening and door are a trapezoidal configuration. The clear opening on the vertical axis is 8 1/2". The opening on the horizontal axis is 7 3/4" at the top and 10 1/2" at the bottom.
Anchor Bolts: Each pedestal base includes three steel hot dip galvanized anchor bolts each with two nuts, two flat washers and one lock washer sized to match the anchor bolts. A schedule of standard sizes is on the reverse side. A grounding lug is installed opposite the handhole.

- Super Durable Polyester TGIC Powder Coat
- Standard finishes: high gloss black, textured black, high gloss white, medium bronze, dark bronze, green, gray, silver metallic
- Premium finishes: Verde patina, pewter patina, silver sparkle, semi-gloss or matte black, satin brushed
- Custom and Marine-grade finishes are available. All RAL colors are available to match (adder).
