The SPJ14-10 Directional Light from SPJ Lighting is an outdoor spot or flood light operating on low voltage and uses a bulb of maximum 50 watts power output in an all weather ceramic socket. True to SPJ Lightings core competence of copper and brass housings in its unique chemical finishes, the SPJ14-10 also comes in the same range of matte bronze, aged and satin brass, black, rusty, verde, moss, gun metal and satin nickel finishes. PVD satin finish is the replacement for satin nickel finish in case the light is to be placed in wet conditions. The assembly is mounted on a 1/2" NPT dual fin spike.

Answer: It starts like a brand new penny then it will Patina.
Will the SPJ aged brass patina?
Answer: Yes, all of our chemical finishes patina.
What is the warranty for Powder coating?
Answer: Powder coating only has a 1 year warranty. Powder coating is not recommended for beach environments. Powder coating is an optional feature and not available on all fixtures. Please contact customer service to request a quote.
What is the warrtanty for stainless steel fixtures?
Answer: The warranty is 10 year with proper maintenance. These need to be wiped down at least twice a year with WD40 and a soft cloth.

What is PVD finish?
Answer: PVD is a manufacturing process that creates a very durable finish that looks like highly polished Chrome or Satin Nickel. It produces a metal vapor which is deposited on electrically conductive materials. The result is a thin, highly adhered, pure metal or alloy coating. The process is carried out in a vacuum chamber, at high vacuum, using a cathodic arc source. PVD finish is commonly used for bathroom fixtures, exterior door knobs and other hardware that needs to be highly weather resistant, which is why it works perfectly for landscape lighting. Salt resistant, scratch resistant, and-water resistant keeps the PVD finish looking new for many years and is guaranteed not to patina in any outdoor environment. To maintain the finish, proper care is needed. These need to be wiped down at least twice a year with WD40 and a soft cloth.
Are all landscape fixtures powdercoated?
Answer: No, the finishes are chemically etched (except for PVD finishes) unless specially requested in powdercoating. Not all fixtures are available with a powdercoating option either. Answer: The lights are AC/DC which means they will work with either an AC driver or DC driver

Answer: The engines can be dimmed with a magnetic transformer and a magnetic low voltage dimmer
